BRIGHTSIDE 03:49
I could see it in the air Every word was like smoke from a cigarette You were blowin’ in your hands The heater broke in the Oldsmobile And the light in your eyes Alone on the freeway I was stranded in the bed You were listenin’ to “The Dark Side Of The Moon” I could barely see your eyes Psilocybin in a hotel room And the light in your eyes The waves on the ceiling I’ll be your brightside baby tonight I’ll be your brightside baby tonight, tonight You were tired of Tacoma I was tired of believin’ we were right Losin’ every other friend Findin’ nothing in the afterlife But the light in your eyes Alone on a feeling I’ll be your brightside baby tonight I’ll be your brightside baby tonight, tonight You’re stranded on the bridge Crying for your kids I’ll be your brightside baby tonight, tonight, tonight I could see it in the air Every word was like smoke from a cigarette Sun is coming up ahead Catch a crack in the windshield shinin’ The light in your eyes Alone on the freeway I’ll be your brightside baby tonight I’ll be your brightside baby tonight, tonight Stranded on the bridge The cops are closin’ in I’ll be your brightside baby tonight, tonight, tonight

A.M. RADIO 03:57
Standin’ on the corner I could listen to the radio When the savior sang from the fire escape on the second floor You were always sayin’ we would make it to the catacombs In the end it came when you wrote my name on the bathroom stall If the photograph doesn’t bring you back If the final chapter isn’t ever after I remember wakin’ up the neighbor like a stadium Yeah he ran upstairs screamin’ no one cared and the band played on Even in the limo you were feelin’ like an animal At the traffic light where you blew your mind on a mobile phone Day and night my love you said the blood was on my hands Long as you run I couldn’t give you up Forever run, I couldn’t give you up In the minivan with your headphones in Did you write your letters to your shitty friends? And all this time you said to me my love would never die Long as you run I couldn’t give you up Forever run, I couldn’t give you up (And the daylight in my eyes) Long as your run (And the silence on the street) I couldn’t give you up (And the low light in my head) Forever run, (And I was incomplete) I couldn’t give you up (And the daylight in my eyes) Long as your run (And the silence on the street) I couldn’t give you up (And the low light in my head) Gone no goodbye (and I was incomplete) I couldn’t give you up

BIRTHDAY 04:14
I didn’t know I was the only thing you saw Your eyes were blue I don’t know why I couldn’t love myself But you needed proof You and me will always be the ones to hang around I can see the loneliness you keep out of sight It’s alright, it’s alright, it’s alright it’s your birthday dear It’s alright, it’s alright, and we’re carryin’ on And you know, and you know, and you know it’s your birthday Every word, every word and we’re singin’ along Over and over I can only scream so loud But you ignore me You picked it up, you picked it all apart And now there’s nothing for me We gathered ‘round your house burned down as you held a garden hose You and me will always be the ones to hang around It’s alright, it’s alright, it’s alright it’s your birthday dear (it’s alright) It’s alright, it’s okay, and we’re carryin’ on And you know, and you know, and you know it’s your birthday (it’s alright) Every word, every word and we’re singin’ along It’s alright, it’s alright, it’s alright it’s your birthday dear It’s alright, it’s okay, and we’re singin’ along It’s alright, it’s alright, it’s alright it’s your birthday dear (it’s alright) It’s alright, it’s okay, and we’re carryin’ on (it’s alright) And you know, and you know, and you know it’s your birthday (it’s alright) Every word, every word and we’re singin’ along It’s alright, it’s alright, it’s alright it’s your birthday dear (it’s alright) It’s alright, it’s okay, and we’re carryin’ on (it’s alright) And you know, and you know, and you know it’s your birthday (it’s alright) Every word, every word and we’re singin’ along It’s alright, it’s alright, it’s alright it’s your birthday dear (it’s alright) It’s alright, it’s okay, and we’re carryin’ on And you know, and you know, and you know it’s your birthday

BIG SHOT 03:01
All the things you said to me The manifest and destiny Well all of this could go away right now And everyone was in the band And I was on another planet And you were all alone And you want to be a big shot You wanna be the big man You wanna hold a big gun You gotta have a quick hand You wanna be the big shot now The chosen one your mother loved the most After all Early morning still in bed You hate yourself for what you said But you could never admit you were wrong And every song was out of key And I was in the in between And you were still all alone And you want to be a big shot You wanna be the big man You wanna place a big bet You better have a big hand You wanna be the big shot You wanna be the only son we love After all And you want to be a big shot You wanna be the big man You wanna hold a big gun (big gun) You better have a quick hand (quick hand) You wanna be the big shot (big shot) You wanna be the big man (big man) You wanna place a big bet (big bet) You better have a sick hand (sick hand) You want to be the big shot now Big shot now After all

Love was not designed for time You were never really mine Find a love, I was leveled at the sight of you You were wrong, what I needed was a little clue All alone in the middle of the night Give it, give it up just to leave it on the line Love was not designed for time You were never really mine All alone at the traffic stop light I Live at home ‘cause I never knew the right time Everyone’s gonna leave it where you left You’re a woman on the run, I’m the silence on the staircase Love was not designed for time You were never really mine Love was not designed for time You were never really mine Hey don’t you fade, don’t you fade away Hey don’t you fade, don’t you fade away Hey don’t you fade, don’t you fade away Hey don’t you fade, don’t you fade away Hey don’t you fade, don’t you fade away Hey don’t you fade, don’t you fade, don’t you fade Say it once so the neighbors all can hear you I’m the one who was never gonna play to lose All the sudden you’re fallin’ out of frame I was lookin’ through the camera, you’re lookin’ for a way out Love was not designed for time You were never really mine Love was not designed for time You were never really mine Never really mine You were never really mine
